Pharmacy Tech (very high-level and difficult course) 

Pharmacy Technicians assist pharmacists in hospital pharmacies or retail drug stores.  We use the PassAssured CD-ROM for this course.
   The PassAssured Interactive CD-ROM is designed to train Pharmacy Technicians to pass the Pharmacy Technician National Certification Board exam.  Its multimedia presentation is easy-to-follow, complete with audio, video, and graphic presentations.  Realistic practice tests will let students know when they are ready for the National Certifying exam. Additional textbook assignments will support learning.

This course starts after Labor day.  Students cannot add this course late.  Check with your counselor  for specific deadline dates.

• Prerequisite: Fundamentals for Health Professions (with 80% or higher grade); Medical Math (recommended)
• Seniors only
• Two high school credits includes 45 hours of clinical time
• One class period, full year
• On line class assignments, textbooks and CD-ROM
• Students pay non-refundable $70 and if the course is completed will keep the textbook.
• We pay $230 per student for the CD-ROM which is for a single-student use. Students who drop mid-course are asked to re-pay us that amount.
