Organizational Leadership through the LCSC Tech Prep program is a way to get college credit for active participation in your student organization which is Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA).
There are several active and/or new chapters in the North Idaho Area. If your school does not have a chapter and you can find 4 student and an advisor who will join, you can start a school chapter. If not, you can participate in an online HOSA chapter just being created in the 2008-2009 school year. Ask Susie Bunt about the online "virtual" chapter.
There are specific requirements for getting LCSC credit for HOSA participation. If you want to enroll for these credits, be sure to read and follow directions in the syllabus very carefully. You should wait until spring to enroll for HOSA credits.
